Samsung foldable smartphone for 2016
CEO of Samsung confirms the making of displays that can be folded as per design and needs. Recently there came 2 devices, Samsung Galaxy Round and LG G Flex, equipped with flexible displays- only the displays were flexible and not the phones. But in 2015 Samsung promises to give this world device that can fold along with their displays.
With the concept of foldable displays the Smartphones and Tablets trend may change from different devices to a one device. Such devices could be used as a Smartphone and as a Tablet as per the need. Samsung also came up with a video teaser showcasing how the foldable devices would look like sometime back.
Samsung’s trotted out its bending displays in the past as concept products, and behind closed doors the company has allegedly revealed plans for specific foldable devices. Now it looks like those products may finally be in sight.
The article said that once foldable smartphone arrive, it may not be long before the same technology expands to e-books and even ultra-portable laptops. One day you may even be able to fold up your computer and slip it into your pocket. For now, we’re just excited over the prospect of a bendable handset.
